Motherhood

Everyone said I would love this.

“Isn’t this the best time of your life?”

“You must be so happy!”

Society loves to tell moms what you “should” feel and “should” do when you are pregnant and caring for your babies. In reality, pregnancy and motherhood can be really hard. Research shows that 1 in 5 mothers experience postpartum depression and anxiety.

You may feel like you have to put a smile on your face and say you’re great, even if you’re drowning inside.
