Therapy Rates

Payment is due at the end of every session. Therapy rates are as follows:

Initial Intake Session (60 minutes): $205
Individual Therapy Session (50 minutes): $155

The Nurtured Mama Rate

Payment for The Nurtured Mama is due prior to the first group session. Group rate is as follows:

The Nurtured Mama (six 90-minute sessions): $40 per session, with a commitment for all six sessions

Payment Methods

I accept the following payment methods: all major credit/debit cards, cash, check, and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)/Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).

Insurance

I am an out-of-network provider for insurance (with one exception, see below). Many insurance companies offer out-of-network benefits and will help you cover therapy costs. When using out-of-network benefits, you pay session fees and I provide you with a receipt, known as a Superbill, at the end of each month. You then submit this to your insurance company and they directly reimburse you, often by sending a check.

To determine if you have out-of-network benefits, contact your insurance company at the number listed on the back of your insurance card. Ask if you have out-of-network benefits for psychotherapy and, if so, if you have an out-of-network deductible and what the reimbursement rate will be.

I have one exception as an out-of-network provider—I am in-network for PrimeWest Health.

Benefits of Private Pay

By choosing private pay, you avoid the requirements made by insurance companies. The benefits of this include:

No Labeling – No mental health diagnosis is required.
Privacy – Therapy notes do not become a part of your permanent medical record.
Self-Determination – We have the freedom to decide together the number and frequency of sessions, as well as which types of therapy are used.
